Beach Haus Brewery

801 Main Street

Belmar, NJ 07719

Beach Haus is a microbrewery located in the heart of Belmar, New Jersey. They offer their own brand and selection of seasonal beers and have ample space to hold events such as ours.

There is street parking on both Main Street and side streets along with a parking lot behind the building between Main Street and the train tracks (accessible form 8th Street). There are no meters either on the street or in the parking lot.

1. Do I have to be over 21 to attend a meeting?

No, you do not need to be over 21.

2. Are there non-alcoholic alternatives?

CJREI is the same group that used to meet at The Red Bank Public Library and at Perkins Restaurant in Eatontown.

Unfortunately the only alternative is water. You may however bring your own bottle of juice or can of soda if you'd like.

3. Does the brewery serve food?

Beach Haus does not serve food. However they actually welcome outside food if you would like to bring something to eat from a nearby restaurant.

4. What is the drink minimum?

There is no drink minimum. If you want a beer you can order one for yourself at the bar. If you prefer not to have a drink that's fine too.

5. Where should I go when I get there?

When you first arrive you will walk in the front door at the corner on Main Street. You'll be in their merchandise room. Straight ahead is a door that leads to a set of stairs, while to your left there will be someone to greet you behind a counter. You'll need to first go to the counter to be carded and get a wristband. If you're under 21 you will not get a wristband.

Once you get your wristband (if you intend to drink) you can proceed to the door and stairwell. Go up one flight and you'll find two doors. The one of the left will bring you to the bar where you can order a drink. The door on the right will bring you to the meeting space.

6. Is the location handicap accessible?

The main entrance has a pair of double doors which are not remotely operable. However once inside there is an elevator to get to the second floor where meetings are held.

While we have a new temporary meeting location, CJREI is continuing to search for a permanent place to hold our meetings. We are currently interviewing potential meeting locations. If you're aware of a place that could be a good fit for us, please let us know.
